Retail Shop Assistant — Capalaba Store
We are currently looking for Retail Shop Assistants to join our Capalaba store.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will be one of the first points of contact for our customers. You will assist with product enquiries, sales, after-sales support, and the smooth day-to-day running of the retail store.
You will be part of a team that values product knowledge, high-quality service, reliability, efficiency and genuine enthusiasm for the outdoors.
Prior retail experience is helpful, but not essential. Prior archery experience is highly regarded, but we are also open to applicants with a strong interest in learning. What matters most is that you are practical, reliable, good with people, and genuinely interested in archery, bowhunting and outdoor gear.
What the role involves

Assisting customers in-store, by phone and by email

Helping customers with product enquiries and purchases

Learning Apex Hunting’s product range and developing strong product knowledge

Supporting customers with archery, bowhunting and outdoor equipment enquiries

Assisting with after-sales support, bookings, repairs and general customer follow-up

Helping maintain a clean, organised and professional retail environment

Restocking, merchandising and keeping displays presentable

Working with the wider team to keep store operations running smoothly

Supporting the team during busy trading periods, including Saturdays
1. Full-Time Role
Location: Capalaba Store
Hours: 5 days per week, Tuesday to Saturday
Salary: $70,000 per annum + super
Relocation: A relocation bonus may be available for the right full-time candidate and will be paid after successfully completing 6 months of employment.

Hours: 2–3 days per week, including Saturday, Monday and another day as required
Pay: Above-award wages + super
