Shoot the Black Sheep Apollo in whatever style you want - the bow can be shot off the shelf with hair rest as a traditional bow (recommended) or set up with accessories including sights and stabilizers.
The Apollo limbs come in 7 lengths; 48, 54, 58, 62, 64, 66, 68 and 70 Inch. Each set of limbs is designed to suit a certain size of riser.
To make things even easier, we have put together an easy table so that you can match riser and limbs for your Apollo recurve bow;
Riser Length |
Limb size | Draw Weight Options | Recommended for |
14.5 Inch | 48 Inch | 10-14lbs | Kids |
19.5 Inch | 54 or 58 Inch | 12-18lbs | Kids, Teens, Ladies |
20 Inch | 62 Inch | 16-22lbs | Teens, Ladies |
22 Inch | 64 Inch | 14-32lbs | Ladies, Men |
24 Inch | 66, 68 or 70 Inch | 18-34lbs | Ladies, Men |
The total size of your bow is determined by the limbs that you buy. So for example if you went for the 24 Inch riser, you could purchase 66, 68 or 70 Inch limbs and that will give you the measurement you need for the string. Bow lengths for the Apollo are measured by AMO standards, so always match your string to the size of the bow (eg. a 64 inch bow needs a 64 inch string, that string will actually measure up at around 60 inches allowing you to flex the limbs back to the correct brace height).
